Tuition Programme
- Our tuition is incentre and the programme consists of some 1 on 1 tuition, some small group class tuition, Mock in centre exams, Online guided and marked homework and regular parent consultation.
- Few parents know that the best time to start preparing for grammar school entry is Year 3 with fundamentals of English and Maths. Our tuition programme runs from Year 3 to the Year 6 entry exams.
- Did you know that for best results your children should be working above expectation in Year 3 and Year 4 so they are not overwhelmed with the Year 5 preparation work. Our programme includes bespoke programmes at Year 3, Year 4 and the start of Year 5 to achieve this. Don’t worry if you have started late, a programme will be tailored for your child’s needs following the pupil assessment.
- Building skills needed for verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning should start in Year 4 and Year 5 so your child can demonstrate mastery of this by the time of entry exams. Most schools do not practice verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, so our programme helps develop advanced fluency for your child in this area.
- During Year 5 we ensure real topic mastery with mock tests and interventions whilst building confidence and knowledge in the areas your child is finding more difficult. Measuring performance per month and offering targeted activities in advance of the exam revision period.
- Our tuition programme involves a 1hr session per week at our Enfield tuition centre. The sessions run on evenings and weekends.
